The experience began with a pink carpet, signature cocktails, and VIP gift bags complete with a custom Boss Up Girl passport, commemorative glass, and self-care kit.
Then came the moment…
VIP guests were whisked away for the big reveal—first access into a ballroom transformed into a Parisian dream. Florals. Texture. Intentionality in every detail. And waiting for them? Our signature Boss Up Girl photo lounge greeted them: a pink boutique backdrop, plush lounge seating, and the quiet but unmistakable message that you belong here.
We opened with an energized introduction…
Streamers flew. Founders Jasmine & Tyra Dyson took the stage and did what only visionaries can do, grounding the room in why this exists and who it’s for.
The energy was felt…
From there, we transitioned into the luncheon and awards ceremony, where we honored three women who didn’t just win — they redefined what winning looks like. A gourmet lunch, a speaker series that sent us home smarter, richer, and more regulated than we arrived, and a queen-pinning ceremony that crowned every woman in the room.
And because we believe in balance…
We closed it out the only way we know how, with a celebration. Dancing. Singing. Laughing. That “CEO off duty” energy you don’t get in most rooms. Because When Women Win isn’t just about what happens on stage. It’s about what happens in the room.

Angie M. Gates accepted the inaugural Women Winning in Hospitality Award with a message reminding us that hospitality isn’t just what we do, it’s who we are.
Our B.A.D Girl honoree, Cher’don Reynolds didn’t just accept her award; she issued a mandate: Black women must stand in their power, unambiguously, unapologetically — not just for themselves, but as a living mirror for every young girl watching.
Glenda Lee our unsung shero received the Community & Social Impact Award for her grassroots work reconnecting underrepresented communities to the workforce — one person, one opportunity, one reclaimed future at a time.
Dr. Tiana Patrice, opened with a session on the Language of Leadership—how what you say (and how you say it) shapes culture, performance, and trust.
Brandi Bridgett walked us through the current economic landscape. Schooling us on how to properly handle our “side husband,” Uncle Sam, and sending us home with practical tools to secure our financial future.
Brandi Chavis closed the segment by making the room stop. In a five-minute meditation, she demonstrated what high-achieving women resist most: the pause. Noting that rest isn’t a retreat. It’s a reset.
