A kitchen-table conversation sparked a movement to help women build wealth, claim their power, and change their families’ futures.
Founders Jasmine and Tyra Dyson had a front-row seat to the brilliance of ambitious women through their work at The Brand Experience Lounge (formerly P2P Branded), where they served speakers, authors, coaches, and consultants with accomplished careers, stepping out on faith to build businesses of their own.
But entrepreneurship wasn’t the only thing they were navigating. They were balancing motherhood, caregiving, grief, and the work of believing in themselves when no one else would. Many lacked the confidence to demand their worth, the capital to advance their businesses, or the opportunities to demonstrate their capabilities.
For these women, success carried personal stakes: a college fund for their children, care for aging parents, or the freedom to rebuild after an exhausting corporate career.
Around that kitchen table, Jasmine and Tyra asked one simple question: What could these women do with MORE?

In 2018, the answer became Boss Up Girl: a movement for ambitious women building meaningful lives, careers, and businesses.
Our first campaign celebrated women across three categories: Mommy Maven, SheEO, and Career Pro. We highlighted the everyday Sheroes making waves behind the scenes and empowering others along the way.
In March 2019, we brought that community together for our first in-person meetup. That August, we hosted our first Brunch with Bosses in Raleigh, NC, and EmpowHER Conference in Washington, D.C. Since then, our experiences have included Ready, Set, GOAL, our annual goal-setting workshop and vision-board party; Spring Fling; Karaoke, Kicks & Kocktails; and our flagship When Women Win Experience held in celebration of Women’s History Month.
Through every gathering, our purpose has remained the same: helping women build the resources, relationships, and wealth to control their lives.
For our community, wealth means more… It means leaving an abusive relationship, rebuilding after losing a spouse, creating opportunity for a child, or pursuing leadership without sacrificing well-being. Building and sustaining wealth can interrupt generations of financial insecurity and change the trajectory of our lives. Our why is personal. Wealth can mean the freedom to leave, the security to rebuild, the resources to care for family, and the power to choose.
